Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a great Easter, we sure did. On Saturday we went to the zoo with some of our friends to do an Easter egg hunt. When we got there they entered a drawing to hide "Easter eggs" for the elephants to find and one of thier little girls won. They asked how many people were in their party and they said we were with them, so we got to do it too. It was a lot of fun. We got to go into the elephant pen and hide pieces of apple, sweet potato, and carrots for the elephants to find. Leah was a little concerned and wanted to be held most of the time, but she enjoyed dropping the food on the ground for the elephants. Then we got to stay in the pen and watch as the elephants did some tricks and then found all of their treats. Then they had one of the elephants pose while we took pictures with them. Leah did not want to look at the camera for that one because there was a big elephant right behind her. She just kept looking back at it. I don't blame her. After that Leah did the Easter egg hunt, actually it was more of a candy hunt, with Daven and got lots of candy.
On Sunday we did our own Easter egg hunt and Leah loved that. When she found one she would point to it and say "Right!" meaning "right there" but she was too excited to finish the phrase. As soon as she found all the eggs, she went around and hid them in the same spots and "found" them again. And again, and again. It entertained her pretty much for the rest of the evening. As a matter of fact, the first thing she did this morning was get her eggs and hide them again.

I love the pictures and the blogs! It really helps me feel like I am connected at least just a little! Thanks for doing them!
